The spacious holiday home is fitted with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with sea views. Guests can take in the views of the river from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. I loved this property. The view was absolutely fantastic and a joy to wake up to every morning. The house was in a lovely secluded position on the hillside and so well equipped from a fridge freezer, great coffee machine, excellent Wifi and so much more. The owner was so responsive by text and the lovely Melissa was on hand if I needed anything. She also cooked me the best meal I had on the island. There was a great little shop down the road and excellent local restaurant with a bus stop at the end of the track to get into town or to the beach or It was a 15 minute if you fancied the walk to Mourouk beach. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. I cannot wait to go back and can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are wanting to experience a beautiful authentic island off the beaten track. This accommodation offers it all. We were surprised by a very warm welcome, and the morning delivery of fresh baguette and pies which was unexpected and a wonderful treat. The location is perfect. We will return for sure!

Port Sud can be reached by foot, as there's a direct trail towards it (not showing on Google Maps)
