The friendly dogs made our stay even more special, adding to the warm and homey atmosphere. Every day, we treated ourselves to fresh coconuts and relaxing full-body massages—pure bliss! This was truly one of the best holidays we've ever had. A well-deserved five stars!

Firstly all the staff were so kind! The accommodation felt like we were at a retreat. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was amazing (perfect to watch sunset). We stayed in a studio room and also a larger delux room a second night, both were fabulous. The decor was gorgeous, the rooms were spotlessly clean and provided shampoo and hairdryer. There was also Netflix! The bed was slightly short for my boyfriend however he is 6 foot 2. There is a bar/restaurant on site and we ate breakfast and dinner there. The food was lovely and great value. Coffee and smoothies were also very nice. We rented scooters and the beach area is about a 12 min scooter ride. The hotel arranged our canyoneering trip for us and it was absolutely class. They also allowed us to hang out after check out for coffees and to relax after canyoneering. We would have stayed longer if we could. It is such beautiful accommodation!

Despite our luck with the weather, Sambag Hideaway was located in a great location, 10mins away from the busy main beach. We could hangout in the bar area, with hammocks and huts, enjoying the thunderstorm. The host was also amazing, giving us local tips and suggestions for places to visit and local guides so we felt we were in safe hands. The best was her suggestion of getting a transfer from Moalboal to Oslob to see the whale sharks then getting the ferry to Panglao, something we didn't know about prior to visiting and was worth getting up at 4.30am for. Thanks for the great time, loved every minute of it

The rooms have lots of cabinets and space as well.
