Hrabusice is the best base for a visit to Slovensky Raj and exploring the Spis region. Some hiking trails (Hornad canyon, Sucha Bela) are walking distance from the village, for the rest you would need a car as public transport is limited outside summer holidays. Due to some mix up with the booking Peter (the host) arranged for us to stay in an apartment in another part of the village. It was an upgrade as we had a whole very comfy apartment with kitchen to ourselves. Communication with Peter was fast and reliable and the proposed solution more than satisfactory! Tip for visitors: since April 2024 local tourist tax (2 euros per person per night) allows free entry to paid sites in Slovensky Raj and includes insurance for mountain rescue costs.

Pavol, the owner takes immense pride in this place and it shows. He is a genuine, kind and generous person who honestly cares if you are taken care of. I’ve been to places all over the world and this is my favorite place, hands down? Why? The amenities are many (the infra red sauna and hot tub to watch sunsets are two) and Pavol is excited for you to enjoy the labors of his work. He even helped me plan my day at the park and made sure I found my way. This was a special experience. I absolutely recommend this place.

I stayed with my two daughters for 5 days. were super happy! great place, great house! sauna and jacuzzi did not use, as there was no desire:) everything else is super! True, it would be possible to add a little spices and oil to the houses ...

Andriš Apartmány is set in Spišské Bystré and has a private pool and pool views. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Very comfortable and clean, has everything you need. The host is also very kind and helpful, as via messages before our arrival and later as well. All of the appliances in the kitchen are new as well as the bathroom. There is a TV with Netflix access and we absolutely recommend this apartment. The scenery around is also amazing and especially because there was snow, it was beautiful to walk in the night and explore around.
