The hosts Shelly and Doug were exceptionally welcoming and competent. I was in the business and have never seen a better couple to run such a complex facility. Most people would need 4-6 staff. The food was freshly cooked and tasty. Everything just ran smoothly for a full house.

The owners provided good instructions and the keys were easy to access. The cottage was centrally located and easy to get around Stanthorpe. Good value for money for a family. Kitchen well stocked.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again. So appreciated the call in the late afternoon to ensure they would be available when we arrived. Close to downtown and lovely park with nice walking paths. The gardens and greenery on the property enhanced the property.

The cabins were spacious and very clean. Loved the location as it is right on the water's edge of the dam. I liked that the cabins weren't too close to each other, and they were positioned at angles that you're not looking into each other's windows. The fire kept us warm day and night. It was so nice that we didn't need to worry about wood for the fire either. We liked it was away from the Town but only 10 minutes away if we needed it and it was central around lots of National Parks for walks.
