The property is located quite close to the train station, but is very quiet and peaceful. It is equipped in a simple but functional way, great for a short stay for one or two people. Ursula, the host, is a lovely lady who is well-organized and cares a great deal about her guests’ comfort. The Haslital, where Meiringen is located, is a valley cut deep into impressive mountains, with great views everywhere when it is clear.

Very charming hotel with a beautiful history, still family owned. The decorations really send you back in time. Everything is very clean and well maintained. I book a room without private bathroom, and it was a good surprised. Shared toilets were very clean. Staff was kind and beer was cold! What else you need? I definitely recommend.

The owner and staff are very warm, welcoming, and helpful. A spacious, clean, and comfortable room in a quiet town surrounded by stunning scenery. Free parking is available! A delicious breakfast. There is also a restaurant (open until 8:00 PM) where you can have dinner. We booked a room for four days and received a digital guest card that included a public transport pass for the Jungfrau Region—a really nice touch!

We were very impressed with this place. The apartment is well-maintained, thoughtfully arranged, and has complete facilities for a comfortable stay. Everything we needed was provided, which made settling in effortless. It was cozy, quiet, and relaxing. A great place to rest after a long day. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

This place was amazing! Slightly quirky, in a super-cool hippie sort of way, with art and knick-knacks and mis-matched stuff all over. The owners matched the place - super-cool, super-friendly, super-interesting people who really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They had everything we needed there, and helped us find anything we didn't see offhand. And the location ... oh, wow, the LOCATION! Evergrin is in a green valley, surrounded by gorgeous mountains, with a field and river on-site and simply amazing views in all directions - and after the sun goes down, the view of the stars is incredible. They have an outdoor lounge, several fire pits that you're free to use on your own or with them, a trampoline for the kids, a wood-fired hot-tub, etc. I'm already looking forward to the next time we stay with them.

Beautiful surrounding and excellent view. Very spacious for 3 adults and 4 kids. Well equiped. The owner was very helpfull.
