Cheap hotels in Anaz

It was beautiful and so much fun

I was delayed in my arrival and the staff were extremely accommodating in leaving the keys for me and checking me in. The room felt deeply clean, not superficially clean like many hotels. And the cafe is so cute and clearly a local hangout. I’d recommend it to anyone exploring the area.

The staff and the location are super.

The host Luis was so warm and welcoming nothing too much trouble . Very helpful . Very dog friendly. So close to Santander Ferry a gem of a find . An amazing property and gardens with a lake. Rooms are in adjoining wing . Quite rural and definitely a little bit of paradise . Was so calming and peaceful . Would highly recommend.

Spacious room and separated entrances

I like the design, it’s an old mason turned to the hotel. It has plenty of interesting details and art pieces insight. Who ever decorated did a great job. Very cozy and atmospheric. Rooms are a good size, with specious bathrooms and beautiful views. Nieves is incredibly welcoming host. It felt like home there ❤️

Lierganes and Alto Ubiro are a “meravigliosa” place to spend a holiday, a short or a long holiday. We really enjoyed the small city’s atmosphere, friendly people and naturally good Spanish food. Even if you stay a short while in Lierganes don’t miss Santona anchovies, sobaos cakes and other local food. The house is also great and easy to access, and rooms are always clean and comfort to live during your stay. We were walking a lot in nearby hills and fields, and it was very easy to start a route from Alto Ubiro because it is so close to nature. We also considered Alto Ubiro as a “base camp” from where we made day trips to cities like Santander, Santona, Torrelavega, Santillana del Mar and Comillas. Unfortunaterly we didn’t have enough time to visit other beautiful places. Maybe next time. Finally special thanks to Sara who is helpful, friendly and always available for assistance. Thank You!

Todo genial. Los dueños son muy hospitalarios y generosos, dan consejos sobre qué ver en la zona, cómo llegar, etc. El desayuno está muy bien, tienen un jardín bonito y las habitaciones son espaciosas y cómodas.

Beautiful castle, comfortable and the service impeccable. The location was good for us and very easy to get parking.
