Such a beautiful place, we loved everything about it: the rooms, the fire place, the environment, the small villages, the dogs, the chickens and the horses. It was such a pleasant stay with incredibly nice owners of the domaine who did everything to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely come back here!

Our wonderful hosts Aurélie, Florent and Lena could not have been any nicer and more welcoming! :) We stayed at La Lisière du Morvan for one night as part of our road trip through France. We were invited to the garden, had a really great talk and one could feel the genuine interest in our well-being as their guests. We never experienced such an open und friendly atmosphere anywhere before. Additionaly the house is beautiful. Very large rooms, nicely and thoughtfully decorated, amazing bathroom. Outside, the house is sorrounded by a beautiful, huge garden and it shows that Aurélie and Florent put a lot of hard work in there. It's a paradise of serenity and beauty. Aurélie mentioned, doing all this is a big dream of her and that she really aspires that every guest feels special and happy to stay here. We can only conclude: Yes we did! It was amazing! Warm and friendly host. My child loved the dog. Comfortable house. Nice open place to play around. Good for children as there were swings, too. The kitchen was good to use. Thank you Fabrice and Christine for a beautiful stay. Will definitely visit again.

This is a beautiful stone cottage with wooden beams and stone floors. Large, well equipped kitchen with huge range and double oven. Double sink, full sized fridge, plenty of crockery. Big lounge and dining table (smaller one in the kitchen too). Gorgeous red leather sofas, lovely ornaments, antique looking furniture. Bedroom large, comfy mattress, really good quality bed linen. (There are 2 double bedrooms.) Large, comfortable bathroom with rain shower and regular shower over bath. Separate toilet. Great heating. Huge garden, beautiful surroundings. Very quiet. Remote so you definitely need a car.

Veronique and Jean-Pierre were wonderful hosts. They looked after all our needs and provided a secure place for our bicycles. We had a wonderful evening with them. Veronique cooked a fantastic meal, which we shared while having great conversation. Both hosts are fluent in English. Veronique provided a fantastic breakfast, just what cyclists need. The house has lots of treasures and great charm. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.
