La Pommeraie was one of the very best chambres d'hotes of the many we have stayed at in France. From the moment we arrived until our departure to continue our journey from Italy to Calais we were made most welcome by our host. A very comfortable bedroom was accompanied by a large bathroom with a most excellent shower. We were able to eat our picnic supper in the dining room although, had the weather been better, we could have sat outside in the lovely garden. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delicious with home-made fruit juice and preserves.

A wonderful stay! We were travelling by bike and the host was kind enough to organise a taxi into town for us for dinner, and even picked us up later when we couldn't get a taxi back. Such a peaceful place, highly recommend!
