The property is centrally located near the major WW2 sites. It was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Nice private garden. Easy accessible free parking lot around the corner. Great communication with the owners, Thomas and Annabelle.

We stayed at Les Buissonnets during early springtime and found it to be warm, comfortable and welcoming; indeed, it is one of those rare places in which one feels immediately at home. It is comprehensively equipped in all areas; the kitchen is spacious enabling the easy preparation of delicious meals, and the bathrooms are modern, providing copious hot showers after a long day's sightseeing. The bedrooms are of generous proportions, furnished with super-comfy beds, quiet and guaranteeing a good night's sleep. We spent several lovely evenings seated before a cheery log fire, and it was genuinely a wrench when we had to set the SatNav for Blighty. The surrounding area offers much to do; as well as the obvious military historical locations, Bayeux is close by, and a trip along the Normandy coast taking in Honfleur, Trouville and Deauville is not to be missed. There are two fine boulangeries in Cruelly as well as an admirable restaurant at the Hotel St Martin.

Perfect little stopover in a cute place. Remote but didn’t matter, as only 10 min drive to seafront for dinner. Great help from the owner too with a couple of messages around nearest ATM and groceries.

Spotless clean, parking space nearby propery, the house is decoreated beautifully, 5km away from a beach, beautiful location, I recommend this property.

Charming house in a rural location that provides easy access to all of the Normandy beaches. The patio, with just an empty field behind it (no neighbors looking on) was a great place to relax. Each bedroom has its own sink (in addition to the bathroom sink), which is convenient. The host is wonderful; we really enjoyed talking with him.

Quiet location, but close to main attractions. Self catering. but optional breakfast was very good. Small kitchen, but adequate for two. Hosts friendly and helpful.
