This is a basic hotel in the best location in Santenay - right on the town square. Clean, simple rooms, secure storage for our bikes, on-site restaurant and an umbrella eating area 10 meters away on the town plaza itself. The hotel restaurant serves simple, but good food, and really fabulous desserts. What must be close to a Michelin rated restaurant is 20 meters away. The hostess really was what determined our hotel rating; she was exceptional - attentive, informative, friendly, accommodating, and with 100% great recommendations on local wine tasting and dining options. Breakfast was standard continental. Fluent English.

What a nice 10 days the accomodation an old farm house with a lovely bbq area under a fig laden tree ideal for a long lunch. Also an old basement cellar where we had after dinner drinks and charquterie. Santrnay and surrounds spectacular
