Even though we only stayed for one night the hosts were very very very welcoming. Isabella and her husband, daughter, + Dogs Murdoch and pup where a pleasure to meet. We had long conversations at Breakfast with the family and other guests from Amsterdam. The homemade compote and huge coffee cups refreshed us for the journey ahead. This B &B stay really created some happy memories of our tour of France. Unfortunately we could stay longer as had to rush back to Dieppe for our ferry (10 hr drive) but would love to go back The old town only 10mins in car was a medieval delight with many restaurants. Isabella booked us into a restaurant as our French is so poor and we were tired after 4 hours drive The is a great place to go canoeing about 45 mins drive away. What an amazing, quirky property. It was like being invited to stay in a family home and the lovely vase of fresh yellow roses on our arrival was a lovely thought. In an ideal location - just a couple of minutes walk to the riverside and shops....boulangerie, tabac and couple minutes drive to Intermarche (although this was easily walkable to as well). Lots of cobbled lanes to explore. The Thursday market spread along the riverside with loads of local produce for sale. Extremely well equipped with all you need to self-cater and plenty of spare bedding, if needed. Milk, a bottle of water and butter was in the fridge on our arrival, along with ground coffee, coffee pods and other staple foods in the cupboards, which we used and replaced as necessary. Enclosed courtyard 'garden' was an ideal space to sit in with a remote control awning which we were very thankful for in the hot temperatures. BBQ available to use, along with all the BBQ utensils needed. The house itself is quite dark but that wasn't a problem - it also meant that it was lovely and cool when we came in from a very warm time outside. Absolutely loads of power points in every room and USB sockets (including in the toilets/bathrooms!). There were just 4 of us but the bedrooms and sofa bed could sleep up to 10 people, along with a couple of babies/young children. Little touches like a little sleep blanket toy, stairgate, baby bath and even a bath thermometer would make it ideal for young families.

We chose to stay in a superior room for three nights, which was relatively new and furnished with a king size bed. The room and the bathroom facilities were both modern and comfortable and pleasing to the eye. It was totally quiet and relaxing. The location near to Terrasson was perfect for us and our nearby friends.

We like the fact that it was in the lovely old part of town. Beautiful apartment. Lovely kitchen. 1km from train station. Lovely shower. The housekeeper is very helpful and friendly.

Super wifi, car parking outside room door, good location for my trip. Lounge area outside bar/restaurant was very nice.
