staying in balivinich was perfect for exploring from north to south Uist and eriskay. grocery store and restaurants were close—Charlie’s bistro is a must, make reservations. the property had everything we needed.

Nice accommodation on the south part of the Hebrides. Nicely clean rooms. Very well equipped for cooking. We can highly recommend this place. We felt here very well and comfortable.

The well equipped and spacey kitchen; to see that everything in the house was made in a way to make the guests feel comfortable; the colors (walls - such a good idea!); the tranquility of the place (and the surroundings); we liked it to stay in an area where (ordinary) people live !!!

Everything was excellent - the house was lovely, clean, and warm. The location so useful - next to a supermarket and just by the sea. Perfect place for exploring the islands.

The cottage was comfy and cosy, with everything we needed. The central location was perfect for exploring all over the Uists. The beds were comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the log fire was very welcome after a breezy day out on the islands. The hosts were so welcoming and the home cooked scones were a lovely, generous touch that made us feel even more at home. We would definitely stay again.

The house is incredibly stocked with a full kitchen and lounge area for guests. Perfect location with a Coop nearby and white sandy beaches just off the Hebridean Way. The owner was an absolute star and a dab hand at problem solving; even when you have a loose screw (on your cycling shoe;).

Amazing location for visiting North and South Uist. Very centrally located. The sweetest farm animals are right outside the door including Stormy the grey cat. The cabin is well appointed and had everything we needed. Close by grocery store and petrol station.
