The hotel is located in the centre of the village and the car park adjoins that for woburn Abbey (closed). The welcome was warm and all the staff in reception, the bar and restaurant were professional and friendly. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. My room was a good size and even had two armchairs in a double room. I think that's a first. Despite the heat and lack of air conditioning, the room was cool and I had a good night's sleep.
