Emorfia's apartments is very well equipped, spacious (with high ceilings) and very clean. It was nice to be met with a small bottle of rakia on the kitchen table :). In the apartment there is a well-equipped kitchen, hair dryer, comfortable shower and even an iron. There was plenty of room for a family of 4. The beds and mattresses were very comfortable. Most apartments offer additional sleeping space on the sofas, but at Emorfia's there were 2 additional beds with very comfortable mattresses. The terrace of the flat we stayed at is very spacious. It was especially nice to have frequent cleaning services and frequently changed towels. Shower gel and shampoo was provided by the host. The host also helped us a lot with information by responding promptly and offering complete information. I can also add that the host was very reasonable and helpful in a few exceptional situations. A large and pretty clean and calm beach is at a distance of a 5-minute walk. There are many restaurants around, where delicious food is served. (We especially recommend Myli and Steki). But also local supermarkets. One is near the apartment and Lidl is at a 10 minute walk distance.

The room, featuring high ceiling for a sense of spaciousness, was very clean and comfortable, and had a balcony. The beds struck the perfect balance between comfort and support, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The family run hotel had a unique, relaxing vibe, and was very quiet. I felt my visit was genuinely appreciated. This isn't a place where they try to cram as many people per square meter as possible - you can truly breathe here. It completely exceeded my expectations for a three-star hotel. The breakfast was basic yet satisfying, with the Greek yogurt nicely paired with fresh fruits and honey. A special mention goes to the eggs, which came from hens raised right on the property. Aside from the relatively simple breakfast, this hotel offers a four-star experience. With only ~20 rooms, the wonderful pool is never packed with people. The large parking area is shaded in the morning, preventing the car from heating up. This place had everything I needed for my stay on Crete and served as a great base for traveling around, especially to the southern beaches which are just a 30-40 minute drive. Highly recommended.

The family of Maria and her daughters Eleni and Pinelopi treated me and my wife exceptionally great! Our room was upgraded from a really good and comfortable room to an excellent suite with a kitchenette, a living/dining room, 2 TWO balconies!!! Hearty breakfast was included. In addition, we made a new friend in Nadia. She took care of us from the moment we arrived, helping us with our luggage. She’s strong! She also kept us company during breakfast, teaching us some of the Greek way of life. Everyday all of the ladies would ask us if we were comfortable and if we needed anything, just ask and it is done! Before Crete, we had been to Athens, Paros, Naxos and Santorini, but the Pinelopi hotel family made us felt at home, relaxed, comfortable, and HAPPY!😊! If we get a chance to come back to Crete, WE WILL STAY AT PINELOPI AGAIN. Efcharisto, Efcharisto, Efcharisto ladies!!!!

Friendly and wonderful staff. Hotel was modern and had all the ameneties required for a great vacation. Food and drink was also really good. Good mix of food and many Greek alternatives. Beach was short walk and really nice.

    It was very clean and had everything we needed. The balcony was a good size and the location was perfect. The pool was lovely and clean and the bar prices were very reasonable. As were the limited items in the small convenience shop inside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to bus stops, shops, tavernas and the beach. The wifi was really good. The hotel was close to lidl and other big supermarkets that where also very reasonably priced.

    Great and very clean room with scenic view provided a memorable stay to me. Good equipped bathroom added to the overall comfort. Hotel had also a bar and a restaurant if someone wanna eat inside the hotel. Complimentary parking and a tranquil location were additional highlights. I’ll be back for sure again.

    The staff was very nice. The room was very clean. Breakfast was good and had a lot of choice. The location is ideal, near the beach, restaurants and the little center of Platanes that is quieter than Rethymno city center itself but has everything you need, shops, souvenirs, restaurants, bars and the beach. The hotel bar was very nice and plenty of choice for cocktail or snacks.
