Cheap hotels in Ptinotrofíon

Parking, Beach, balcony, stone floors

Really spacious and bright for a couple, all the amenities were new and clean and there was even a washing machine in the bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy, the bed was really soft and the balcony big enough for 10 people. Chania is 20 mins away.

Tasos cottages is really a nice base to explore the west of Crete. We were staying in the cottage 4, which is pretty spacey and have a great back side private open area to sit in the mornings /evenings. We came late and the keys were waiting for us in the entrance. Inside we had a welcome present from the owner - wine, cold water in the fridge, eggs, some bread - everything you need to start a great vacation. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and were pleasantly surprised that 2nd bedroom had 2 adult and 1 child beds, as we have have not seen it on the pictures and planned the smallest kid to sleep on the sofa in the kitchen. Air condition is in the kitchen facing corridor, helps during the extreme heats, however maybe having a simple fan to blow that air from corridor to the room will make it much more efficient. 2 parking places in front of the cottages. If you are without car - every 30 minutes during summer there is a bus to/from Chania, and around. Takes 25 minutes to center of Chania with the bus, and 2.20 EUR ticket. The beach is 3-4 minutes by foot, but it is pebbles, so take your pebbles swimming shoes ;) This beach is very long, so even the posh hotels are with the same pebbles. Once we got our rent-a-car, we drove to a beautiful beaches of Agioi Apostoli (20 minutes by car - 27C water and fine sand - a gem for the small kids) Few local supermarkets and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. during our 9 days stay we had 2 times the towels and sheets changed, which is a very nice service. Overall, we really liked our stay, but since we had during the huge heatwave 35C outside in mid-June, it took us few days to get used to the cottage and be comfortable.Overall quite a nice experience, and amazing price-to-quality value! Efharisto Poli!

Check in and out was very quick and convenient. The extra bed we had requested was already in the room. The price of the room was very, very reasonable. The location is excellent beside the beach, that had wonderful waves.

Great quiet location, great hospitality

The apartment was spacious and comfortable for our group of five adults, with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. It is exceptionally close to the beach, just a one-minute walk away. The beach is long and wide, making it perfect for walks, even out of season. We visited at the end of September and beginning of October, and swimming was still quite pleasant when the wind was not too strong. One of the nicest features of the apartment was its lovely garden and patio, where we could enjoy the sun at different times of the day. We also loved being able to hear the sea all the time. The location is very convenient, with a SPAR supermarket just a two-minute walk away and Lidl around five to seven minutes away. The bus stop for trips to Chania is also nearby, making it easy to get around using public transport. The apartment was well equipped, and whenever we needed anything extra, we could simply let the owner know. Overall, it was a spacious, comfortable place in a wonderful location, close to the beach and all the essentials.

Excellent place, quiet, walking distance from the sea.

Very friendly staff, super clean

Everything! So nice to be on the beach in a room with a view from a lovely large balcony. We had 2 rooms for 5 nights each and the management was so considerate to put our rooms near each other and because we had a double booking, and it was a quieter time, they upgraded us, which was very much appreciated! Rooms were clean Daly, amenities were nice, bountiful breakfast dining at the ocean front. Restaurant staff, housekeeping, staff, and management was exceptionally professional and friendly and efficient. Also enjoyed a nice lunch & dinner during our stay. A plus is that the resort is a nice size - not too big!

Great hotel for families… the staff was so nice to my 2 years old naughty toddler… thank you for everything

Niko’s and Mary amazing couple keep the property in a good condition, the big room was very nice and clean. The pool and the bar were a place that I enjoyed very much , beautiful place to take the breakfast every morning, big parking lot, excellent location.

Right on the beach, spacious room with big balcony. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. Genuine Greek hospitality.

Everything was good. The owner was very kind, nice location and everything was clean.

We loved our stay at this lovely villa! Everything was clean, comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The staff was very responsive and helpful when we needed help with a few things. The outside area is so relaxing and peaceful. We would have loved a bit better weather to enjoy the patio more. Would highly recommend staying here!

Friendly family hotel in a quiet area but with plenty of things to see and do a short distance away. Perfect for us! Free air con and well equipped apartment.
