Brand new suite (Jun 2024) located in centre of Hora Sfakia - just over the corner from the main promenade. Despite this, it is a very calm place. Modern equipped and exceptionally clean. Friendly and professional staff. Private parking in a fenced yard just next to the suites. Short (3 min) walk from the Vrisi beach.

Our stay at Ilingas Mare was absolutely wonderful and my favorite of all the five places we stayed at in Greece. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the remote location, the beautiful water, and the very clean and modern apartment. And while the Ilingas Mare tavern is not run by the same business owners, it was great having the traditional Cretan homemade foods each evening just outside our door.

Beautifully furnished, well equipped and very comfortable 3 bed, 2 bath apartment. Beds were comfortable, showers excellent. aircon worked well and the kitchenette was adequate for light meals. Hairdryer and good quality toiletries provided. Lovely big balcony with good views and a short walk, albeit up or down a steep hill and many steps, into the village. Marios was charming and very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Some reviews have mentioned that the breakfast provided in the room was a bit basic but to be honest we viewed it as a nice extra touch as you could easily supplement with fresh fruit or bread from the nearby mini-markets. Would definitely stay at Eleana Nature & Art if we were to visit the area again

The location is beautiful and peaceful. However, it’s also close to Loutro, Marmara Beach, and Aradena Gorge. There is a small beach a two minute walk away that was virtually empty. The brothers that run the taverna are thoughtful, kind, friendly and generous. Their mother is a wonderful cook. We really enjoyed eating our delicious meals right next to the sea.

    The view and location great host running a taverna just opposite and they cook fantastic food ! All from his garden and locally produced Rooms were nice and clean. Location was good a 6min trek to the nearest beach and harbour Giorgios was fabulous helpful in every way thank you ☺️

    Gorgeous hotel, on a great location. Nice views, good pool and very modern designed rooms. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good! Great hide-out for a few days exploring the amazing waters around this area. We will definitely visit again!
