The villa was exceptional with a quiet, calming atmosphere - great gateway for my holiday! The view was beautiful with many plants, rice fields and stars at night :) very quiet during night which made me sleep well too. The villa owner Pak Agung was friendly and helpful, he had everything we asked for! Will definitely visit again :)

We had a fabulous stay at Prayatna Villas with our own villa & private pool. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, modern and well equipped. The location is quiet and a 20min scooter ride to Ubud centre, which was perfect for us. I would stay again & can't recommend this place more.

A good Villa for a reasonable price. An authentic rice fields and forest nearby, a hammock on the balcony. Friendly staff A huge fan instead of ac is surprisingly better to make temperature comfortable.

Absolutely loved my stay at this 1-bedroom villa! The room was clean and cozy, the private pool was perfect, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true escape. I absolutely loved my stay at Harsa Sanctuary in Ubud. The villas are brand new, beautifully designed, and feel like a luxurious escape into nature. Everything is high quality—from the hot water and comfortable beds to the hand-carved furniture that adds a truly Balinese touch. My favourite part was relaxing on the hammock on the balcony, overlooking the forest and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff here are amazing. Ketut was always quick to respond via WhatsApp whenever I needed anything, and Nengah truly made my stay special. He’s warm, friendly, and always happy to chat—he gave me so much insight into Balinese culture and great recommendations for things to do in Ubud. I felt so welcome and looked after. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful place to unwind while still being close to the heart of Ubud, I can’t recommend Harsa Sanctuary enough.

This place is a hidden gem 💎 I liked everything about this place from start to finish. The family here is so friendly and really care about what they do. I was warmly, greeted as they helped me down to the bamboo house with all my luggage. This place is a very special jungle experience. I felt one with nature and everything was super comfortable. The bed was cozy, the place was well lit, the shower was perfect, the view was incredible and the breakfast was made of pure love. They feed you really well ♡ I even had leftovers 😋 Oh and they also provided drinking water, coffee & tea, which was so thoughtful and I was truly grateful 🙏 I'm still in awe at how well the family built this bamboo home by hand with the bamboo on their land. It amazes me and it was a true gift to experience such a unique treasure. After relaxing and enjoying the space the 1st night, the next day I wanted to do a water cleansing ritual. They gave me a ride there, walked me through how do it in the traditional Hindu way and even took lots of pictures for me. They came out great!! This has been a dream of mine to experience & was even a little emotional at times. It was very special to be walked through the process, have pictures taken and have a ride there and back. I am so appreciative of that!!! After that we went to visit his village and stopped by a honey farm and that was super fun to see and try. The next morning they came down and sung me happy birthday and lit a candle, let me make a wish and sent me with the most positive blessings ✨️🍰 It really meant the world to me 🥹 They really put a lot of heart and soul into what they do here and care for your needs. I am truly blessed 🙏💖 and can't wait to come back!! Thank you 😊 If you're thinking about visiting here.. DO IT!!

A truly authentic Balinese homestay experience. Ketut, his family, and Putu are incredibly kind and attentive — they make you feel part of the village. I even extended my stay because I felt so connected here. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, the rooms spacious and clean (with a mini fridge), and the Wi-Fi worked well for my admin tasks. When my shower broke it was fixed immediately. Laundry is also available, which was very convenient. Highlights of my stay included joining a local ceremony, visiting the school to share English with the children, a fun day trip to Gembleng Waterfall, Lahangan Sweet, and Tirta Gangga Water Palace, and even celebrating Ketut’s birthday with the family — unforgettable moments that brought everyone together. The location is inland, more jungle so expect to hear the animals and birds.. there is a warung and small shop right next door, and a supermarket and vegetable store within walking distance (although thank you Putu for the moped ride!). This is not a tourist destination. Transport in the village is limited, but Ketut does everything possible to arrange what you need and help you get around. Ketut Carman loves sharing his culture and experiences. The value for money here far exceeded my expectations for the experience I received. The only small note: the property can be a little tricky to find, so I recommend checking in during daylight hours. I left with a profound connection to this village and way of life

I liked the room, the environment, and the staff. Dewa showed me around and I enjoyed the trip with him and many insightful discussions. The food was delicious. The garden was so beautiful. Will definitely want to come back again.
