A unique stay right in the buffer zone of the Great Himalayan National Park, which is easily its biggest USP. The mountain-view double room is absolutely worth it, with beautiful views and a peaceful setting. We ended up having most of our meals at the property itself, and everything we tried was fresh and very good in taste. What makes this place special is its access to GHNP. Unlike most tourist destinations, there isn't a checklist of attractions here, no instant pay-off. No viewpoints to tick off, no crowds to chase, no dramatic landscape, no drive to viewpoint, click photo, leave. Just forests, rivers, trails, birds, and the freedom to create your own experience. Walk, sit by a river, explore a trail, or simply do nothing at all. Our visit coincided with election season in Tirthan, so the staff was understandably a bit occupied at times. Even so, the overall experience felt raw, authentic, and wonderfully connected to nature.

The property is located in the center of the forest, very peaceful. Most of the time we could hear just the birds and the flowing freshwater stream . It is a beautiful property to relax and chill . Just the right place to rejuvenate . The staff is super polite and helpful. The owner of the property is always available and very helpful and accommodating. Its like a home away from home . We had an incredible time staying in Tirthan Eco Stays. Situated up the hill of the peaceful Tirthan Valley it was the first true peace and quite we've had during our India travels. The guys are super friendly and made sure we were looked after. The food was delicious and comforting. The views overlooking the valley are insane. Couldn't recommend this place more if you're staying in the area!!!

The best place to stay in Tirthan Valley by far. Everything from the spacious rooms with a beautiful view, to the amazing food that is available all day was fantastic. Nishanth ensures you are well taken care of and that your stay is perfect. The property is close to lots of hiking options as well. WiFi is also very strong here which made a longer stay possible.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The location was peaceful & surrounded by nature with apple trees, fresh mountain air, and stunning views that made us feel calm and refreshed. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax & forget about the noise of the city. The best part was the warmth of the people. Kishore ji & his family were incredibly kind & welcoming. They didn’t treat us like guests. They treated us like family. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we were comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. The food was another highlight. Simple, home cooked, and full of love. We especially enjoyed the local Himachali dishes. Everything tasted fresh & comforting, just like a homemade meal should. Our room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view of the valley. Waking up to that view in the morning was a dream. In the evening, we sat around the fire with chai, talked, laughed, and felt completely at home. Every little detail from the warmth of the hosts to the beauty of the place made our stay truly special. It’s not just a place to stay. It’s a place that touches your heart.
