Giuseppe's place was amazing! It is a large beautiful home with a massive balcony overlooking the adjacent valley and castle tower, all the way to Mt Etna. It is on a plot of land filled with olive, lemon, orange, fig, cherry and persimmon trees and a small hobby farm with chickens, goats and baby goat, dog, Turkeys, a goose, ducks you name it! He gave us fresh eggs for our breakfast! He harvests everything including his olives which produce 200L of oil every year! Depending on the season, he actually takes his guests to visit local farms and pet the cows and watch them make and sample amazing cheeses and in October his guests help to pick some olives(a few) and then they watch the process from picking to crushing in the 'factory' to sampling the olive oil with bread! I mean what could be better than that! Best place possible!!
