We had a take-off from Bologna at 6.40. So we couldn't take advantage of the breakfast which was included in the price. Instead of this, Luca prepared a rich supper for us. It was very nice! We communicated quite well with him using a translator because he does not know English.

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, and the b&b has everything you need for a great stay. I stayed here alone for a week and it was very safe and comfortable. Comfy, spacious and clean room, they provided nice clean towels and basic necessities. They also provide a nice selection for breakfast, and good coffee. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this sweet B&B!

Excellent breakfast with home made cookies, pastries, jams and fruit juices. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Dinner was also very good and great value for money.

Wow!!! At the begging I thought: “where are we going?” Until we reached the beautiful home hosted by an incredible and charming couple. It is like an AirBnb property with the owners together. The room was beautiful. Antique details and extremely charming. Stunning. The bathroom is insane, small but out of this world. Just beautiful. No shower but a bath. But stunning. Then come the morning and the breakfast… what???????? There is a room that they set everything for you, cooked by them. Charming, elegant, 5 star for sure. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. It is quiet and overlooks a field and has secure parking. It is in easy walking distance of pizzerias, gelateria and restaurants and a short drive to 3 supermarkets, more restaurants and a wonderful dolciaria. Altedo is perfectly placed to explore the Emilia-Romagna region. It is half way between Bologna and Ferrara, each a half hour or less drive away. It is in easy driving distance of Modena, Cremona, Mantua, Verona, Padua, Ravenna and the charming coastal canal towns of Chioggio and Comacchio. From Ravenna it is a short drive to San Marino, an independent hill state in the heart of Italy. We would like to thank Fabio for being such a helpful, kind and generous host, he even found a nurse to dress a deep cut on my wife’s hand.
