Stayed here with some friends (2 couples, 2 rooms) on our road trip down south of Miyazaki. The property is a funky (in a good way) renovated old JP home with shared showers and bathrooms. There's a cool bar / coffee area as well as a communal tatami room -- we played board games in the tatami room while having some drinks. The property is located in the middle of the 'fun' district in town, with lots of izakayas and snacks and cafes within walking distance. We walked to a nearby izakaya and had a great time. Since the property is 'contactless checkin' it's a good option for shy people or couples who just want to focus on feeling privacy.

まちごとホテルLOOP 小林 provides air-conditioned rooms in Magata. Free Wifi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. All rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom.
