Beautiful hotel on the hill overlooking the Mekong. The views from the balcony were amazing. Large comfortable room - loved the wood finish and details. We were only there one night as we were taking the slow boat to Luang Prabang - was great to up grade ourselves to such a wonderful hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was delightful - wonderful views and great food - highly recommended place for one or several nights.

The best location for a hostel in Pakbeng. I woke up and had coffee and breakfast on a nice balcony over the river. About half seven you can see elephants on the other side. Comfortable and clean. Very kind staff.

One of the closest guesthouses to speedboat. Quick check in after long day on boat. Owner made sandwich next day for slow boat Owns bakery opposite, went in and had breakfast to support local businesses. Room had everything I needed for one night. Good value. Quiet.

Stunning views from the balcony while having dinner and breakfast. Food was home cooked, traditional and absolutely delicious. Room was comfortable, cool and just what was required for a stopover on the slow boat. Pickup and dropoff for the pier was amazing. Only shame is I didn't know how lovely the area would be and wish I could have stayed a little longer.
