Dar Kamal Chaoui is a fantastic opportunity to get away from the main tourist trail in Morocco and see an authentic town not far from Fez. Kamal is a brilliant communicator in English and French, and after a long career in Europe he is passionate about showing visitors a real Moroccan community and improving the lives of the local people. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated with local crafts, and you can relax with the family, but also be alone if you want to be. I went with Kamal on a challenging but incredible hike over the Kandar mountains behind Bhalil. Thank you Kamal!

This cave accommodation was beautifully decorated and surprisingly comfy! Thami has an artistic eye and it definitely shows when entering the property. The hospitality from Thami and his wife was amazing and they really made us feel welcomed into the home. The cooking was plentiful and tasty, every meal we were being spoiled. Amazing place, still new and well designed and equipped, the reception was very helpful and kind, the breakfast was the usual Moroccan breakfast however it tasted incredible! The place is well located if you want to visit Ifrane and Fes and want to stay away from the cities.
