Comfortable rooms in a really cool old home. We loved all the shared spaces. The young man who checked us in and made our breakfast was so thoughtful and kind in spite of our knowing extremely limited Portuguese. It was a short walk to the castle from the hotel. The streets are crazy up and down but so much fun to see.

Located in a beautiful country side, surrounded by nature is great location to hike or bike. It is close to Castelo de Marvao, Castelo da Vide, Menhir de Meade and other lovely medioeval towns, is a place to relax or work with creative projects. I could stay longer if I had have the time, this place is in my list for my next trip to Portugal.

Amazingly beautiful. Very well located in town. The room with a view to the castle is outstanding and the bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel. Staff are mega nice and caring.
