I stayed here while walking the Ruta Carmelita to Fatima. The room is really beautiful and Sergio and his family very welcoming. It is in the countryside with no shops around so I preordered a vegetarian dinner which was great and the lady of the house gave me some yummy strawberries as well. I also had a great chat with the family. The place is so peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to relax after a long day of walking. In the morning their dog walked with me for a while which was really nice company.

This accommodation exceeded all our expectations. As we were walking the Camino, we were collected from Alvorge by Marco. Maria, our host, had contacted us, explaining what was available at the Country House and what we'd need to bring. The rooms were comfortable and the house enormous with beautiful furnishings in an older style. Suited the building to a tee providing a warm atmosphere. We absolutely loved sitting by the pool in the incredible gardens. We were thankful to our host for also organising a taxi back to Alvorge so we could continue along the Camino.

Great place out in the country. The room was unique in that part of it showed the mountain on which the house was built. The bed was comfortable, and the owners were more than helpful. It was very peaceful, and there was a table with an umbrella outside on a small deck to sit and drink coffee. The bathroom was very nice and modern. Air conditioning and heating worked well. This is the place to stay if you want to visit Conimbriga or other Roman ruins or castles in the area.

Totally renovated vintage house! We loved every aspect of it and definitely want to come back! The host, Paula, was super nice and received us with treats and sympathy. The house is well equipped and the location is beautiful! Next to many rural attractions.
