We arrived on bicycles in the middle of a downpour. Zane brought us in and took great care of us. He took us to town to eat dinner , then returned to pick us up.

A place I could spend a month. Hiking trails, good food, nice people. Make sure to request the staff to make reservations for dinner in town at the Distillery, We ate there both nights and watched a lot of people get turned away. Also, I highly recommend booking with breakfast included, it was great, and not a lot of other options nearby.

LOVED this unassuming little Refugio! would go back in a heartbeat! cozy, clean, spacious, comfortable, charming, more than enough for us! we were so excited to walk in! gracious host who came out crossed street to bring us weary lost travellers in! thank you! Amazing stay, rooms are very cozy and the beds are super comfortable. Location is great, you can walk anywhere. The staff, however, is absolutely the best: both Anne and Vítor were super considerate and helpful, our car broke down 5 minutes away on arrival and they both gave us rides on different days, Vítor even went around with us to several car shops trying to find us a fix. We'll definitely be back!

The property is exceptional. A little out of the way, but a pretty countryside location. The furnishings, the linens, the decorating all first class. Easy 25 minute drive to Sines or Praia do Malhau. Nice breakfast included. A duplex good for a family or two couples.
