Two weary cyclists arrived for one night. We were delighted! Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines! we loved absolutely everything about this apartment! Specifically how beautiful and comfortable it was. Luciano, the owner has made certain that everything is perfect for each traveler staying here. it has a fully stocked kitchen, including an assortment of coffee, teas and other pantry items. I cannot fully express how much we enjoyed this vacation rental apartment. I highly recommend it, and would love to return in the future!!

Breakfast was fantastic! Our hosts were exceptionally helpful and clearly looking to provide a fabulous experience - and they succeeded. Both rooms booked were excellent, clean, well decorated and great bathrooms. Cakes on arrival was a bonus and an honor bar well stocked. Bike storage was great.
