Cheap hotels in Podbrdo

A tranquil spot in the middle of a natural paradise. Lovely staff, clean and well equipped rooms, restaurant just where you need it if you don't want to do your own shopping every evening or morning. Definitely will recommend to anybody who wants to stay in this region, it's a real gem!

The people were SO nice and helpful with maps and instructions and ideas. The room was clean and the view exceptional with the balcony. Dinner at the hotel was exceptional. Trout fresh from the lake. Tiramisu to meet and exceed expectations. And the servers were beyond excellent. Can I say I love everything about this home? Because it did not feel like a hotel but a home.

Tranquility of the place and beautiful surroundings. Staff was very helpful and made our short stay memorable.

The room design and location are very good, and I appreciated the availability of bicycle rentals and the generous breakfast. The hotel’s restaurant is also a big bonus — the food was delicious.

We stayed for one night on our cycling trip. Since it was a Monday just after the summer season, the restaurant was closed but the owner called in the chef to make dinner for us and the one other couple staying there. The staff was so kind and went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay. The location is pretty isolated, but perfect for a stop on a bike or motorcycle trip with beautiful landscapes.

We booked a family room which was very spacious and comfortable, had a bath tub as well as a separate shower. The hotel is very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The buffet breakfast was great!

We booked a room 2 hours before our arrival because very bad weather forced us to change the plans. The host was exceptionally hospitable and even helped us deal with hut reservation cancellation by contacting the hut owners. The amenities were perfect and pretty vast (actually we got a whole apartment for the price of a double room!). The location is at a short walking distance from lake Bohinj. Highly recommended!

Our apartment had a perfect view to the mountains, the garden and the nearby are was so peaceful it was really relaxing. Our hosts were really kind and welcoming. The apartment was well equipped and we had everything we needed in the apartment. Overall I would highly recommend.

Staying here was a highlight of my trip. Katarina is an outstanding host, an amazing cook, and made me feel so welcome and at home. The farm is so lovely, breakfast and dinner was delicious. The room was spotless and comfortable with a balcony and view of the hills. I hope to be back very soon 💞

The hosts are very kind and sweet and made us feel very welcome. The hut is cute and has a small fridge. It is remote but very beautiful and great for hikes and stargazing right from the cabin. Also the breakfast was excellent.

Natural design, loots of wood decor, spacious rooms, modern, sleek furnitore.

The location is great, we used it as a base to visit Bled and Bohinj and Socha. Quiet surroundings, horses on the field, it was idyllic. The host Miha was helpful in every way, friendly and at disposal!

Everything was good. Easy to collect keys. Pretty close to lake Bohinj (by car). Nice accommodation. Host was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful information.

If you like hiking, this apartment is close to lots of hiking trails and interesting landmarks in the Bohinj area. It was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen (cookware, oven, dishwasher, etc.) and spacious rooms. The view of the mountains from the balcony was also amazing. Special mention to our host, who was very nice and helpful. She even let us pick some vegetables for dinner from her garden :) We hope to come back next year too!
