I loved my stay at the Soro Hotel. From the modern familial feel of the stay to the extremely hospital owners and staff, I felt like I was family during my stay. I loved how accessible the hotel was to the main road as well as its proximity to the airport. Additionally, the King sized room I stayed in was smaller than I thought, but it was recently renovated and very clean- I was happy about that! One of the best parts was the door to door service from the airport to the hotel by the owner. My departing flight was at 2:00AM, but he still drove me and made sure I made it on time. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and healthy, and I really enjoyed getting to sit outside in the courtyard to eat, do work, or chat with other guests. As an American citizen with Iranian heritage, I felt safe, well cared after, and happy at the Soro Hotel. I recommend it to all!

an amazing experience! Erkin makes sure that you feel at home and helps you with everything you need while staying in Tajikistan (from tours, to transport, to tourist tips), the best part is that even a few months before when I originally booked the room we already talked a lot about this, the hospitality already started that early! We also had great conversations about our lifes and also his business. He is a very hard working man who does the best he can for his guests and his family. He tries to keep improving the guest house as much as he can and I am happy that everything I expected from this place was not only met, it was even better. The room was very comfortable with good working air conditioning and quality beds. There are fridges and watertanks on each floor so that you always have free drinking water ar your disposal and can keep your own food & drinks cold and unspoiled. The bathroom is shared with 2 other rooms and is always kept very clean. All the extra services were great, both the breakfast and dinner had great variety, tasted delicious and portionwise were really big. I also used their laundry service which was affordable and done properly. A nice added touch was the fact I was offered some watermelon on arrival as a gift. The family works hard to make these services as good as they are! The location was a bit outside of the city center but taxis could get you there within 10 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and is located in one of the nicer parts of Dushanbe. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby if you want to eat out! Overall, this has definitely been the best accomodation of my trip in central Asia and I'd say I would return to Dushanhe just to stay here again, maybe next time we can organize some other tours. The staff was great, especially the manager who let us wait in the lobby after we checked out for a long time because our flights were early the next morning. Also, the free shuttle, the free laundry, free treats and coffee and juice all day… it was an incredible value. I’ll be staying at the Rumi every time I come to Tajikistan!

Friendly, helpful staff. Central but quiet, safe location. Room was big and clean. WiFi was stable and fast. Bathroom clean and fully equipped. Breakfast was a great choice of several fresh dishes of high quality and various choice of tea, coffee and fruit juices. The gym was well equipped with new sport tools for any kind of exercise. Free rental bikes. Money exchange at the reception for a great rate. Relaxing inner courtyard with mix of old Russian and Central Asian architecture
