Loved that the parking was free and gated. The building’s security is top notch. The elevators are super fast and it is in an absolute prime location. We went there to see the campus but also had tickets to go to the colonial life Arena and it was approximately a mile away less than five minutes by Uber! Only cost $6.60 You could actually walk. The bed in the master was so incredibly comfortable. The giant wide screen TV, two of them were perfection! The outdoor space is cozy yet private overall just an excellent experience I would highly recommend. The host was amazing and answered our questions immediately! Place was tidy neat while decorated well appointed and perfect for our stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Ken and Crystal were so attentive to any of our needs. Breakfast was a gourmet experience. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Ken kept the conversations going among all of the guests as well in the beautiful garden that won my heart seeing the southern roses that only blume in the fall. It's no doubt that they love this historic inn. I hope that you are fortunate as us to stay at the Chestnut Cottage

We were in Columbia to move our daughter into USC for freshman year. The place was a great location. The host was amazing and so accommodating. I made a mistake in booking days and he helped me rectify it the day before we were supposed to arrive! We normally dont have a lot of questions but this trip we did had a few and he responded within minutes! I was very impressed. The place is super cute and the shower was huge!

    Hotel looks brand new. Smells like fresh baked cookies and new paint. Fixtures and furniture and decor are all modern contemporary. Bed was comfortable, room was well appointed with coffeemaker, microwave, refrigerator, big screen TV with streaming services. Place was spotless and clean. Staff were cordial and professional. Breakfast was excellent with several choices, something for everyone. Free parking on site. Convenient location in downtown Columbia.
