I experienced some of the happiest moments of my life in this old wooden hostel — it felt as if I were living two hundred years ago. I was especially delighted by the hostel owner, a very polite and kind woman who made me feel like I was with my own family. Even the food was good, and the place itself was stunningly beautiful, close to Ban Gioc Waterfalls and Động Ngườm Ngao Cave, with many nearby rivers perfect for swimming. Truly, it was a heavenly experience

We arrive at the lovely homestay without any idea of what is it. Mo, the lady was so grateful with us. She is always smiling and funny. She makes us really confortable in her house. She is an excellent cooker, with a lot of different food to share all together. She always try to speak english with us and we know that it can be complicated for her. The host - Phong is cute and kind. If you need anything just call him. The landscape is amazing, you can see both river and mountain. There are all kind of flowers and butterflies. I was shocked seeing a firefly in the dark which I haven't seen for a long long time.

My favorite stay this trip to Vietnam from Saigon to Sapa and here. Perfect peace. Host family so hard working and helpful. Made delicious meals and extra strong coffee. If you are locing for a peaceful remote stay to connect with the countrysytjis is perfect. The cows and water buffalos are herded pass the outdoor eating area each morning. Ladys come to gather water spinch from creek bank and garden has glorious flowers and butterflies.

The owners are great and they were very helpful only thing is to make sure you have Google Translate as they don't speak English and you can't blame them after all your in their country so if you don't speak Vietnamese you should have a translator app. Waterfalls are confidently located right down the road. There is no restaurant but several options within walking distance. Highly recommend if you're planning on visiting the falls. Enjoyed it so much I extended my stay an extra day. Local morning street market also within walking distance as well offering a wide range of options for locally grown produce to clothing. There are no grocery stores, but there's a few local stores offering limited options. Plan ahead if you want anything special. Would stay again, very clean and very modern. Also, a great view of China from your windows. And for 30,000 dong, they even power washed off my motorcycle.
