The family was very nice and sweet. I felt very welcome. On my first night, in addition to having my room upgraded, they invited me to bake sweet potatoes on the fireplace. It was surreal, such hospitality and kindness are rare to find. The kids and the dog were adorable, too. The homestay is very spacious, high ceiling, and very modern, minimalistic fengshue'ish decor. The room is very clean and comfy. The home is located on the citadel, near the main monument. It is also far from noisy tourists and karaoke bars.I loved the fact that it's a non tourist area because I had the chance to interact with the real Vietnamese people who were kind and smiling, and the small kids waving and saying hello, was heart melting. . I had a great time experiencing their culture and their foods, and the pleasure to eat the most delicious street foods on the area; the bun bo hue soup just outside the home, the ice ka- phe and the fried bananas were simply divine. We stayed in the Lake View room and it was lovely, especially seeing the daily lives of those living around the lake. The room was clean and comfortable. Laundry services were available and the host did an amazing job with our clothes. The homestay is within walking distance to the Imperial City as well as a local market. Great food options in the area. Some of the best spots were in hidden alleys. The homestay is also near a great corner cafe, tasty bánh mì, and an excellent barber. The host for this homestay was so incredibly sweet! It was a joy to interact with her and her visitors. Yes, there is a language barrier, but I'm not sure where most of the reviewers think they are traveling to. You'd think they were going to the UK or Canada with how much English they expect everyone to speak. Folks, you're in Vietnam and there are plenty of translation apps!

We were one of the first guests to stay here and it was absolute fantastic. The pool was beautifully refreshing after our drive from Da Nang. They are located a short walk from the citadel and it was a beautiful place to walk around in the evening. The rooms were bright, airy, clean and had everything you could possibly need (Strong AC, fans, fridge, strong water pressure, lights) and he even had added a reusable bag and umbrella if you needed to go to the shops or carry anything extra. The breakfast was delicious, eggs, sausage and bread. Everything was so easy, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mr Tung has excellent English and great travel stories. I will 100% be back here next time I'm in Hue and will be recommending to everyone I know. 10/10

Very nice homestay with kind people. Very close to the imperial city and from very good restaurants to enjoy Hue specialities. We had a lovely stay here!
