Muunga Bush Lodge is in a very unique location in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. I could sit by the pool and watch birds fly by or, nyala and warthogs wonder by. There are nice walking trails that take you to waterholes with hides for viewing animals. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners my entire stay. The Lodge and outside areas are beautifully decorated. There are a number of local magazines, bird and animals books available for reading. I definitely recommend Muunga if you want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We travel a lot and have had a lot of experiences with luxury accommodation but honestly nothing beats African Flair! This is our favorite place in the world! The place is stunning, incredibly tastefully decorated, the space that you have to yourself and the privacy of the place is amazing. The bedroom is incredible, the bathroom is out of this world, the pool is wonderful, the attention to details is incredible. The design of the place is stunning! The location of the place is within a Wildlife Estate, so you can see some animals roaming around as you drive or… take an outdoor shower! But what sets this place apart from everywhere else is the Host and her passion for making your stay a wonderful experience. Nothing is too much trouble, she is incredibly kind and nice and devoted to make your stay unforgettable! We are surely coming back soon again and this time we plan to stay much longer!

He personally exchanged messages with us before our arrival to ensure every detail was perfect and even picked us up at the airport. That level of attentiveness is rare and deeply appreciated. We were surprised with an incredible upgrade to a stunning villa, enjoyed romantic sundowners with champagne, a private game drive, and a gourmet picnic during the safari—all arranged flawlessly. The hospitality, thoughtfulness, and seamless service truly place Oase in the same league as some of the best hotels in the world. We’ve stayed at iconic properties like Aman, Mandarin Oriental, and the Peninsula, and Oase absolutely matches that standard of service. If you are looking for an exceptional hotel and experience, make no mistake—just book Oase 7. You won’t regret it. Our only regret? We only stayed two nights—it simply wasn’t enough to soak in all the beauty and experiences the lodge has to offer. We will definitely be back! The is a really singular property. It's a work of art in some ways. There is a large wildlife estate attached to the accommodation and the animals come in for feeding in the evenings and the mornings which is perfect for viewing. We enjoyed running in the estate and driving around to see the animals. The owner Xavier was not there during our stay, we nevertheless heard a lot about him. The dinners were good and a great opportunity to socialise with other guests.

    If you're looking for a place to hide and enjoy nature and wildlife, Geminthebush is the ideal location. We were treated very well by the staff and all the ladies were very friendly. In addition to breakfast, we also enjoyed dinner on some evenings, the mushrooms for breakfast (I need to know the secret spices used🙂) and braai on Saturday for dinner (oh that tasty source, I will come back for it) were delicious. I will definitely go back.
