We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hidden Gem 2 Bed Cabin, and it truly lived up to its name. Tucked away in a peaceful, scenic location, the cabin offers the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and seclusion. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The cabin was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Both bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, with quality linen and thoughtful touches that made a real difference. We especially loved the outdoor area — perfect for morning coffee or an evening braai while soaking in the tranquility of nature. The attention to detail throughout the property, from the furnishings to the layout, made it clear that the hosts truly care about their guests’ experience. Communication with the hosts was seamless, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape or a quiet family break, this cabin is an absolute gem. We’re already planning our return visit. Highly recommended!

Wild Fig was probably the most well-equipped accommodation we have stayed in. It had everything one would need (we don't have kids, but they had books and baby-friendly crockery). It had sufficient extra blankets, cutlery, wood, firelighters, crockery, and many other things. We lacked nothing. The bed was so very comfortable, probably the most comfortable of any accommodation we've stayed at. The host was professional and friendly, but not overbearing, so we had our privacy. Lastly, the place was super clean. All cutlery and crockery were shiny and spotless.

From the moment we arrived, this home was everything that was described and more. The property was clean, beautifully furnished, and equipped with all the comforts we needed for a great weekend. From quality linens and comfortable beds to full kitchenware and beautiful interior décor, everything was satisfactory. The main living areas were warm and cosy, with efficient gas heaters and air conditioning keeping things very comfortable during our winter visit. The three additional bedrooms have wall heaters, which were appreciated, but didn’t quite provide as much warmth as we’d hoped. A small suggestion would be to consider adding electric blankets for those rooms – it would be a wonderful extra touch during the winter months. That said, this minor point didn’t detract from the overall experience. The location was ideal for a getaway from the city, very peaceful and private, yet close enough to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. Our host, Nicole, was responsive and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. Communication was smooth from start to finish, and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Maria and Mr Jacky took us around the property, showing us how things work to ensure that we had everything we needed for the weekend. Overall, we had a great time and we wouldn’t change a thing, and recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with friends and family!
