The nearest airport is Pristina International Airport, 136 km from the accommodation. I cannot recommend this hostel enough! Just book it, you won’t regret it. The owner is a very experienced mountaineer and gave all of us a briefing on the hike to Theth that we would be doing the next morning. He also brought us to a restaurant in his pick up truck and all the guests got to have dinner together which was great to make friends. There is a fire at night and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great and for $5 you can pack food for your lunch as well. Most importantly, the hostel can provide transportation to the start of the trail to Theth if you want ($30 all the way or $15 to the gravel river bed) that you can split with everyone else (it’s a bus so we split between 10 people in late September).

Owners are very sweet and it is a very authentic experience. They don't speak much English, but we got through with hand signals. Great breakfast included and the dinner as well (10 euros pp). It is towards the farther end of Valbona, so you do have a few kms to walk to get to the Theth trail. No wifi, but you get cell service. Excellent views.
