We chose the property purely based on its location between Saquenay and Quebec and time of day we needed to leave the former and arrive at the latter. We arrived tired and hungry at 7pm after a long day of kayaking in Saguenay and the proprietor's answer to our request for dinner suggestions (go to the grocery store for a baguette, some paté, and a bottle of wine and eat it on the balcony) was perfect. We enjoyed the proprietor's sense of humor and chit-chat over breakfast in the morning. He kindly also let us spread out our wet camping gear on the fence and lawn to drive so that we could properly repack it before continuing our journey into Quebec where wouldn't need it for several days.

Located in Notre-Dame-des-Monts and only 19 km from Park les Sources Joyeuses de la Malbaie, Hebergement du grenier 2 0 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. They upgraded us for free to a bigger chalet with a hot tub. They prepared a log fire for us to use outside. And we had a barbecue. Everything inside the chalet was shiny and new. Who could ask for more! Great value for money and all round wonderful experience.

Enquired about our comfort when we arrived, after the first night and upon departure. Highly recommended.

It was the most peaceful and relaxing way to end our trip. The view was amazing and the owners were so wonderful. We had to leave very early for our flight but they still offered to make us breakfast before we left. It was such a great time! Louise and Alain were an absolute pleasure to meet.
