We chose the property purely based on its location between Saquenay and Quebec and time of day we needed to leave the former and arrive at the latter. We arrived tired and hungry at 7pm after a long day of kayaking in Saguenay and the proprietor's answer to our request for dinner suggestions (go to the grocery store for a baguette, some paté, and a bottle of wine and eat it on the balcony) was perfect. We enjoyed the proprietor's sense of humor and chit-chat over breakfast in the morning. He kindly also let us spread out our wet camping gear on the fence and lawn to drive so that we could properly repack it before continuing our journey into Quebec where wouldn't need it for several days.

Very comfortable, functional and practical set up. Liked that the rooms where on two different floors.

Enquired about our comfort when we arrived, after the first night and upon departure. Highly recommended.

The hosts are super welcoming and kind, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! The cabins are designed so well, are very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen is very well equipped and you can easily cook any meal and enjoy it on the beautiful veranda. There is also a nice outdoor fireplace that all guests can use while enjoying.the.magnificent river views. The beach ia only 3 min.walk across the road and yoi can watch the water for a whale sighting if you are lucky. We saw a porcupine and a groundhog in the area near the cabins. We are super grateful to the kind hosts for this piece of paradise on earth. We absolutely recommend it for a stay of any length.

Auberge de jeunesse du Domaine er staðsett í Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, 23 km frá Municipal Golf Baie-Saint-Paul-golfvellinum. Amazing location as it is right at the foothill of Le Massif. This meant that I could take my time to wake up in the morning, freshen up, eat breakfast, and still catch first chair at 8:30pm. Very clean place.

Everyone mentions the breakfast- see photo! As you can see, we sat outside overlooking the bay- all wonderful. We had a room in the main house which shares the small bathroom with one other room. The rooms take couples/ singles/ 2 people only. The room was well- appointed ( bedside lights, toiletries etc. ), beautifully furnished and very comfortable. There's a lounge you can use with fridge and games, and lots of space/ chairs to sit outside looking out at the water. Chantale suggested an evening walk ( take mozzie spray!) and we saw a baby porcupine on the path.

The most vivid impression of our entire stay in Canada! Many thanks to the lovely hosts for their hospitality! Large room, perfect cleanliness, cute design, comfortable beds, everything you need! The view from the room is a postcard! There is a garden house where it is ideal to enjoy morning coffee or evening tea by candlelight in cozy blankets! Our biggest mistake - we only stayed one night... We didn't have time to use the fully equipped BBQ kitchen and enjoy our time here! We saw whales!!! Thanks for your advice on where to take the tour!
