Super easy walkable access to the mountain, and anything we needed (food, restaurants, etc.) was a quick walk as well to into the main town area.

The views from the property are absolutely stunning, especially the mountains and the surrounding nature. The chalet is cozy, well-maintained, and very peaceful. The hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made us feel at home from the very beginning.

The place is beautiful, very clean and well-organized, but what stood out to me the most was the way the owner, unfortunately, I forgot the lady’s name, treated us. She was very polite and very helpful!

Emma's Hotel is an exceptionally modern hotel. There are so many clever and fantastic details, not to mention the excellent Buffet Breakfast. The location is very convenient (just next to the train station), there are plenty of parking spaces if you arrive by car. I especially liked the self check-in, which was an easy process. The room was nicely furnished, not too much, not too little. I liked all the little details this hotel has to offer, like a printed goodnight story, the word puzzle on the wall, the placemats on the table, the clever usage of the old elevator (there are toys for children, books and magazines etc). I definitely will return.

Most perfect lodge we could have found. Very comfortable beds, private bathrooms in the room, and the (shared) kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. Each room key opens an individual fridge so you can securely store all your food and drinks. The host was extremely responsive and made check in a breeze. It’s about 8min walk to the ski lift and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. There’s also a safe for each bed in the room if you want to secure any valuables while you go out. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Berggasthaus Tannalp er staðsett í 1,976 metra hæð yfir sjávarmáli, í 1 til 2 klukkustunda göngufjarlægð frá Melchsee-Frutt, umkringt náttúru og fjöllum. Tannensee-vatnið er í 600 metra fjarlægð. (Summer holiday). Great place in the mountains for hiking and resting near the lakes. Very friendly staff, so helpful and supportive. Amazing cuisine - we did enjoy the food there (all three meals). Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.

Hið hefðbundna SPANNORT-fjölskylduheimili er staðsett í miðbæ Engelberg, nálægt lestarstöðinni og býður upp á sameiginlegt eldhús og sjálfsinnritun. Very nice concept of common kitchen. Well equipped and very functional. Good rooms and nice atmosphere in general in the hotel. Feels like home! Well located in the center with a nice bakery/tearoom right across the street.

Hið sögulega Jugendstilhotel Paxmontana var byggt árið 1896 í Art Nouveau-stíl en það stendur á hæð á fallegum stað í Canton-hverfinu Obwalden og hefur unnið til fjölda verðlauna. breakfast was generous and full of options. eggs were only available after 9am due to internal meetings before..I thought that was rather unusual.
