This hostel is run by a friendly family. It's conveniently located, and the kitchen is well-equipped, making it convenient for guests. The bus terminal is nearby, and there's a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making shopping a breeze. A particularly nice touch is the beachside walks. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery as I walked alone in the morning and evening. Breakfast is provided. I checked out early in the morning on my departure day, and they prepared a simple meal for me the night before. I appreciate their kindness.

The viewis unbelievable. windows all around with a view to the sea and birds flying around. Beautiful property from entrance to the top floor.

A very helpful owner and staff. The owner had great advice on where to visit, including a great penguin tour that I took on my last day. The room was also good, with a private bath. The common area was spacious too.

This is really a wonderful place, super clean, cozy but with good common areas, amazing comfortable beds and warm at night. Safe location and easy to walk up the nearby hill right into the center of downtown Castro. It was always very quiet here, especially at night. A nice experience to stay in a palofito (stick house).

The hosts were very friendly and kind. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. In a good central location, close to the bus terminal.

Matatagpuan sa Ancud, 15 minutong lakad mula sa Playa Arena Gruesa, ang Hostal Casa Damasco ay naglalaan ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, at shared lounge. The location was amazing. Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.
