Opened in April 2013, Aroma Guesthouse is located in central Ærøskøbing on Ærø Island. This property offers free parking, a roof terrace, free WiFi, a brightly decorated room and a studio. The Aroma Guesthouse was perfect for our needs. It has two rooms and a shared bathroom which was what we required. It was very clean and well equipped with kitchenette, sofa and dining table in the larger room. The hostess was friendly and left us some beer and liquorice both made on Aero. Aeroskobing is beautiful - like a film set of old streets and houses - our Great Great Grandfather came from there and carved the altar rail and altarpiece in the church and so it had special interest for us.

We were looking for a place to stay for 3 nights for our wedding at the Ærøskøbing town hall. We drove from Germany. This stay exceeded our expectations and left us with wonderful memories, thanks to the host (Kristine) and her daughter. It was like staying at a friends or relatives place. Both of them were witnesses for our marriage and showed us around the island in the same and following days. Kristine made us also some delicious pancakes for breakfast ! We wish to return some time again in summer !

The place was very spacious, peaceful, and beautifully designed, with a lovely and tasteful interior decor. Even though we visited during the cold winter, it was warm, cozy, and very comfortable inside. I can easily imagine how amazing it must be in the summer, which is why we will definitely book it again. We stayed here for our wedding, and this beautiful and calm accommodation fulfilled all of our expectations and wishes perfectly.

While this is a hostel (with bunk beds in the room that we had) it does not feel like a regular hostel. Our room was pristinely clean and bright, with all the facilities that we needed. The shared cooking and eating facilities were generously sized and well-equipped. The property has loads of character. The staff were fantastic - warm and engaging and very happy to chat about the local area. The free bikes for use by guests were a real bonus and the location, just across from the water and a ten minute walk from the beach, is superb.

We had a wonderful stay and loved every single thing. We booked the appartment which had a private bathroom and was very spacious. Our favourite thing was the outdoor terrace which we could enjoy in good weather. The gorgeous garden is very well kept and green, and the highlight of the location. We were there with the car (there is free parking on location) and it was less than a 15 mins ride from Ærøskøbing, although there is also a bus stop right in front. Special note goes to the breakfast which we loved (especially enjoying it on the terrace) as well as how attentive and kind the staff and the owners were. We will definitely return!

Very friendly staff to help you settle in the house, from the Udsingten hoten just nearby. Possibility to have dinner in the hotel (buffet during summertime). Close to a pier and a small beach if you want to swim in the sea.

Liked the unique aspect of staying in a renovated circus wagon. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. Anna and David were great hosts, great communication, and they help organize a few special touches for my husband’s birthday.
