The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, providing plenty of comfort. The small terrace with a table and two chairs was a lovely touch, perfect for relaxing outside. The host was exceptional – very friendly and offered fantastic tips for exploring the area. It truly made a difference in our experience. Highly recommended.

From the moment I made the reservation and received a prompt welcome mail to the moment I left Hotel Star Fish I felt really good taken care off ! Carlos is an amazing host, who makes you feel home away from home ! Upon checking in you get all the necessary information about the hotel,the island and possible tours for which he even makes the reservations if you wish ( at no additional cost). I could choose from two different rooms which had been made ready for me for to check in . I arrived from an early morning boat transfer and could already check into my room , as well stay in there on the last day until my flight left at midday. Carlos took care as well off my taxi reservation besides always trying to get the right tours for me. I had a really nice big quiet room at the back of the building , the air conditioning was one of the best I ever used and you can make yourself coffee or tea at any time and fill up your water bottle at the reception area. I can only say : Thank you so much for everything, and I hardly recommend Hotel Star Fish, also due its central, but still quiet location in town ( breakfast across the street, real good restaurants close by, beach in short walking distance).

Herbergin á Galápagos-eyjum eru þægileg, með ókeypis WiFi og garðútsýni. Amazing place to stay. The location is close to everything in Puerto Villamil. Everything is confortable and very clean. The manager is very friendly and helpful. I would certainly come back.

Such a beautiful location, literally right on the beach. Staff so accommodating. Breakfast marvellous. Simply loved relaxing and enjoying Isabela. Lots of great bars and places to eat very close. We also took a ‘Tuneles’ boat/ snorkelling tour that front desk recommended and it was brilliant. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

Located in Puerto Villamil, 300 metres from Puerto Villamil Beach, La Isla Del Descanso features views of the city. We did love the atention, they help us with planing and save me when i needed to wash my shoes. We love the sheets they are sooooft, the room has a nice smell and good AC We felt secure and save, the door was pritty cool
