Situated in Jerusalem and with Western Wall reachable within 700 metres, Gloria Hotel features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The location of the hotel was excellent. Right in the heart of the Christian Quarter, you can easily reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Western Wall, and Al-Aqsa Mosque within a 10-minute walk. It is also very close to shops, restaurants, money exchangers, and a taxi stand. The room was spacious. The free breakfast was superb. I had it every single day I was there, and there was a daily serving of eggs prepared in more than one way, accompanied by a wide variety of cheeses, olives, and sometimes even falafel. What stood out to me personally was the staff. They were extraordinarily helpful and welcoming and can easily enter your heart. Mariah, Nasser, and Ayad were kind and courteous, and I simply can't look back to this trip without thinking about them. One member of staff was Mr. Jamal. He truly went above and beyond in making sure my stay in Jerusalem was warm and comfortable. He possesses an intimate knowledge not just of the Holy City, but also of the surrounding towns and cities. Jamal is the star of the show here, and he also offers guided tours. He would not hesitate to share his knowledge and assistance with you. If I were to go back to Jerusalem, I would book at the Gloria Hotel any day of the week. اخوكم عبدالعزيز من العراق
