The hotel seems brand new, and the rooms are nicely set up with tatami mats and comfortable beds. Just like in a ryokan, you leave your shoes at the entrance. This gives the hotel a very cozy feel despite its size. The staff is extraordinary. I never had to wait to talk to a staff member and they were very helpful. The onsen is one of the best I experienced in larger hotels like this. It is a very nice oasis to come back to after a long day. I particularly liked that they also have a sauna. The location is ideal. There are lots of restaurants and bars literally right outside the hotel, the lake and the castle are both just a short stroll away. If I come back to Matsue, I will stay here again for sure.

It was clean and a lovely accommodation. The location was perfect and very close to the station. Staff were so friendly and super helpful. They even gave us a gift for our anniversary which was very kind of them. Thank you so much for everything and we will definitely be back soon!

The rooms were a really lovely combination of Japanese and Western styles. Shower and bathroom area were very fancy. The lobby was wonderful for an early arrival - we left our bags locked up, made coffee and resettled our things for an outing to the Peace park before check-in. The main door and rooms use codes to get in, and once the desk is not 'manned' this makes entry very convenient. Lots of restaurants and grocery within blocks. Peace Park is about 10-15 min walk through an easy neighborhood. Really liked this hotel.

This hotel is in a quiet town in a really central location to reach the islands in the Seto Inland sea. It is right opposite the station and port, and so easy to find. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great beds and balconies you actually want to sit on. Toilet is separate from the bathroom which we always love! The real point of difference re. this hotel though is the Japanese bathhouse and restaurant which are a short walk down the road behind the hotel. Use of the onsen is complimentary for hotel residents and we used it every day we were there. The onsen facilities are very comfortable and atmospheric and the food/ambience in the restaurant is wonderful and not at all expensive. After big days of walking around Teshima and Naoshima it was so lovely to come back here on the ferry and just relax.

Set in Uno, the recently renovated 視点定点 inn offers accommodation 21 km from Kyobashi no Kyokyakuato and 21 km from Hashihime Inari Daimyojin Shrine. A real treasure in a small town—authentic and cozy, crafted with great taste and attention to detail. The room was spacious, and the shower very comfortable. Excellent location within walking distance of the train station, ferries, and bus stops

1.1 km from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, Neighbor's Hotel 平和大通り is set in Hiroshima and offers free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Excellent location. Very easy access self service and staff contact was excellent. Facilities were excellent. We only had the pleasure of one night but wish we had longer. Excellent having kitchen facilities and it was so close to everywhere we needed. Close to buses, restaurants and shopping.

Situated in Kurashiki, 800 metres from Shinkeien Garden, 撚る屋 features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. This was certainly one of our best hotel experiences in Japan! Upgraded our room to the suite when we were there- because the courtyard was so beautiful. For design lovers, the attention to detail was immaculate and such an inspiration. The balance of traditional architecture and modern design was breathtaking. Opened only 6 months ago! What a gem. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. We got Japanese breakfasts on both mornings instead of the Western. To get there, we took a bus from Kurashiki station to a bus stop 3-5 mins walk to Yoruya.
