We had a really good time there during Christmas and not feeling homesick! Would like to visit again in the future!

Fantastic location, great amenities, and lovely hosts. It was easy to find and convenient to the station and tourist sites. Breakfast was delicious.

My wife & I stayed at Fulsato for one night on a Tohoku ski trip driving from Geto Kogen to Tazawako. We’ve stayed at many Ryokan on our trips to Japan and this was likely the best one. From the moment we arrived the staff was so kind and helpful. We got a room overlooking the river with our own private bath in the balcony. The other public baths were nice esp the outdoor one. The room was well thought out and immaculately clean. The best part was the food! Both the dinner and breakfast were kaiseki style and the presentation and flavors were amazing. The price was higher than we usually pay but it felt like a total value.
