This is one of our favourite accommodations during our one week trip in Kyushu. The location is perfect, esp if you had a car. Less than 10 minute drive to the Saraku Sand Bath, supermarket and JR station. It's also close to Ryugu Jingu and Tamatebako Onsen. The room has a big balcony with ocean view, and it was superb to watch the sunset and sunrise. The room has enough amenities and cooking equipments to make a small meal. The beds are large and comfortable. The natural onsen was a surprise bonus, and it is true onsen because we could smell sulphur from it! The host, Takada-san, showed us spectacular hospitality from the very beginning. The responses were always quick and warm. We deeply feel the love Takada-san have for Ibusuki. Ibusuki is such a lovely ocean village with high quality onsen, and the best sashimi I have ever had (among my 5 visits to Japan). We highly recommend everyone to visit Ibusuki and stay at Takada-san's accommodation!

Situated within 1.2 km of Tomori Beach and 5.9 km of Amami Park, 奄美ゲストハウス宇宿サンライズビーチ provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Amami. Take-san was very friendly and drove me to the supermarket... very kind!!

Sheraton Kagoshima has a fitness centre, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Kagoshima. With free WiFi, this 5-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The view from our room was spectacular-sea, volcano, coastline. Room is quite spacious and well equipped. Great location, easy access to the city center.

Fairfield by Marriott Kagoshima Sakurajima er staðsett í Tarumizu, í innan við 31 km fjarlægð frá Kushira Heiwa Arena og 39 km frá Ogawa-no-Taki-fossinum. Beautiful property by the ocean. The staff was friendly, even if my partner could speak Japanese the staff member talked to me in English and I really appreciated that ! Thank you

Live here eins og japanskt do býður upp á hverabað og ókeypis einkabílastæði og er í innan við 40 km fjarlægð frá Kagoshima Chuo-stöðinni og 41 km frá Kagoshima-stöðinni. The host was so incredibly nice and welcoming. Tatami room and everything. The foot bath was right outside the room and felt amazing. Was surprised to find out that the bath had it's own thermal water pipe in addition to the normal pipes. Tried one of the local souchus that were available to freely taste and it was really good. Just bummed that I only stayed for 1 night. Definitely worth staying for at least 2 days or more. Especially if you're coming with a car.

Situated in Amami, 500 metres from Yanigawa Shopping Street, Hotel Sundays Amami features air-conditioned accommodation and a restaurant. The hotel is very new and facilities are user friendly, excellent location and beautiful sea view, staff are polite. Wide range of breakfast choices. Would definitely stay here again!

Located in Amami, 800 metres from Higashi Beach, みーまん奄美 provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a bar. The property itself was amazing! There is a lovely common space where you can cook and hang out! The beach right down the street is beautiful and empty and you can rent so many different water activities! Only thing: restaurants around the place are often closed or far away, you can take the bus there (which is going every half an hour until ~19:00) or make sure you have at least something you can eat ready at the hostel so in case you don't find something you are settled. There is a convenience store right next to the hostel.

Yakushima Park Guesthouse er staðsett í Yakushima, í innan við 10 km fjarlægð frá Shiratani Unsuikyo og 35 km frá Yakusugi Land. The hospitality was impeccable. The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable. The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean. Would highly recommend.

We spent an amazing few days at Denpaku The Beachfront Mijora during our recent trip to Amami. The hotel architecture was amazing and did a great job of leveraging the beachfront location. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable after a long day of activities. The breakfast each morning was a real treat.
