Very clean, great facilities and good provision of anything you might need for a comfortable stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the beds and public spaces are well kept. The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! Thank you!

Set in Tosa and within 22 km of Daizen-ji Temple, Hostel John Mang ゲストハウス ジョン has free bikes, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. John and Mari are amazing hosts, they offered me a free ride on the way back from temple 36 (i was walking on the pilgrimage), they speak English well which is a big plus for foreigners in Japan, they also use whatsapp and one can contact them anytime, the facilities are clean and new, there is a ferry one can take nearby to continue on the pilgrimage, they even offer some free snacks for the guests. They have available bikes for free if one wants to get to the nearest supermarket/convinience store, even so they still offered to take me there by car. Super great and organised people.

Situated just 3.9 km from Sukumo City History Museum, ゲストハウスみんちゅう offers accommodation in Sukumo with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. I liked how it was decorated, everything was extremely clean. And very generous with the amenities. I felt very relaxed and refreshed after hiking for so long. Owners are awesome ! Recommend eating at 焼鳥一品 味鳥屋 as well.

Set in Ino, 28 km from Odo Dam Museum, そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is perfect location just beside the crystal water river side and the owner created the beautiful white sand beach that really good idea for people enjoying the beach in the mountains 🏔️. Furthermore the design of artwork done by owner David and his wife created warming and welcoming home. Particularly the foods and rooms very good value for visitors. I’m strongly recommended!

3.9 km from Sukumo City History Museum, みなと館 華 is a recently renovated property located in Sukumo and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Dinner and breakfast were good and delicious. The owner was very kind to fetch me from the station in the evening and he drove me back to the station in the morning in the rain which was much appreciated by me.

Also worth mentioning it is fully equipped with everything you'll need. Masa & Tomoko are lovely hosts that will make your stay hospitable and will be available for your every need. I would highly recommend staying here as part of your trip to Shikoku.
