Set in Ino, 28 km from Odo Dam Museum, そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The hosts Yoshiko and David were incredibly friendly and caring. Breakfast served was wonderful, egg, fruit and yoghurt. The house had been carefully been renovated 5 years ago. The setting in the valley is wonderful. We could swim in the river just 2 min walk from the house.

Everything was amazing. Location is INSANE, in a very rural village overlooking the valley. The owner, Yancy, was super friendly with us and told us his interesting story. He provided everything we need, such as cooking tools and also games and entertainment. We appreciated to have the whole house available for us, for cooking and chilling. The outdoor bathroom is a real experience. I absolutely recommend to try this accommodation.

3.9 km from Sukumo City History Museum, みなと館 華 is a recently renovated property located in Sukumo and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Dinner and breakfast were good and delicious. The owner was very kind to fetch me from the station in the evening and he drove me back to the station in the morning in the rain which was much appreciated by me.

Situated in Kochi, the recently renovated Sakura House サクラハウス 高知駅から車で20分-豊かな自然を味わう山の隠れ家 features accommodation 48 km from Daizen-ji Temple and 48 km from Nishihama Park. The house is clean and the host is very friendly with good communication before and during the stay. Around 20 minutes drive from Kochi city. The stay also includes a complimentary ¥500 per person for a bakery nearby. Recommended!
