The owners were so nice and friendly, helping us decide which public onsen to try and giving us good restaurant recommendations. We loved visiting Takeo shrine and the magical 3000 year old camphor tree 15 minutes walk from the guesthouse. Also highly recommend the cute Coffee Shop almost next door to the guesthouse.
