From Tsubakino Hotel it is a 40-minute drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park, as well as to the Hokusai-kan Museum in Obuse Town. Best hotel in our Japan trip! Room was enormous and beautiful. The onsen was very nice and they allow tattoos, which is a great plus! You can even book one space privately. The breakfast is traditional Japanese and it is so yummy. I cannot eat fish, and they accommodated my food request (you need to inform them in advance). I 100% recommend it and I would stay here again.

Some staff spoke English and went out of their way to make the experience memorable. The onsen is natural hot springs with nice sulfur smell. Loved every second of this place. Would happily return.

This recently renovated apartment is located 9.2 km from Ryuoo Ski Park and 21 km from Suzaka City Zoo. The property is non-smoking and is located 28 km from Zenkoji Temple. My stay there was lovely! My family and I really enjoyed ourselves at this place. The space was really huge and it was accessible by car. The hosts were also prompt in their response and very kind and helpful! It was a good stay.

The property is non-smoking and is set 34 km from Zenkoji Temple. House was situated in a quiet neighbourhood. The first evening I arrived at the house, I saw a wild life cat metres away from me. Saw a similar species the next evening. Entire unit was cosy and big enough to accommodate my family of 5. The washing machine and dryer unit provided means we do not need to pack as many sets of clothes for the whole trip. I would like to come back in future when there is snowfall. This time round we were too early.
