Hotel Yuni Star-Club er staðsett í innan við 1,3 km fjarlægð frá Sotobori-garðinum og 1,1 km frá safninu Museum of Science University of Tokyo. The hosts were incredibly friendly, and kindly offered us advice on anything Tokyo/Japan related. Gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations for the local area, as well as having a map detailing all of the local surrounding attractions. The hosts also helped us with baggage forwarding to Kyoto, making it an easy and smooth process. There are countless amenities provided, from kettles and tea bags to irons and ironing boards, as well as a coin laundromat facility available at the bottom of the building. There is also a rooftop deck with great city views, the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The location is incredibly central, with the Ichigaya train station less than a 10min walk away. From here the entire city is easily accessible, either via JR lines or the subway. Overall we had an amazing time, and will definitely be coming back if we return to Tokyo!

Easy to get to from airport just one stop on metro. Property very modern and clean. Room is small as expected in Japan. Amenities provided included pyjamas which surprised us. Staff were wonderful and stored our luggage while we spent day in Tokyo.

HOTEL GROVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel er staðsett á besta stað í Tókýó og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi, veitingastað, ókeypis WiFi og bar. I booked a triple room, which is perfect for my family as we all get our own bed. Exceptional view from room, good size room for Shinjuku. Hotel is clean and location is very good with shuttle bus directly from Narita airport. Train station is not too far away, though it's a good 10 min walk if you're taking the NEX.

Honestly the room was a very good size for a twins beds room for two people with fairly large suitcases, with a little table and chairs lounge style to eat in the room. For a very reasonable price. It was perfect. Also love the fact that our toilet room and the shower room are separate. I love when they do this. Other little details, very close to Tokyo Disney (maybe 20 minutes but it's three stops from the train station) The nearest train station is across the street, and on the other side of the station is a supermarket.

There’s also a family mart beside it. Very convenient. Near the subway too. Walking distance to some major establishments like Don Quijote, supermarket, McDonalds.

MIMARU Tokyo IKEBUKURO er staðsett í Toshima-hverfinu í Tókýó og býður upp á 4 stjörnu herbergi með ókeypis WiFi. Well placed, roughly five minutes from the main Ikebukuro station and within walking distance of Sunshine City. It’s on the Yamanote line too, so easy to get to major travel locations like Shibuya, Harajuku, etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable, my group was three people and we had a good amount of space and were very comfortable. There’s cooking and entertainment facilities in the room, which was nice when we were tired and just wanted to relax in the evening. Of note — hotel rooms in Tokyo are notorious for being quite small and cramped, but the rooms at Mimaru are huge by comparison. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.
