The views alone make this accommodation extremely unique and worth it. The host, Barbara, and her husband are very welcoming (they made us banana bread on arrival and had made us flower necklaces as it was our honeymoon!). The room was very clean and comfortable, there is an outdoor deck to enjoy the morning coffee.

We were greeted by the host and were given lots of information and local knowledge that was super helpful. It feels like a little slice of paradise and I wish we could have stayed longer.

Of the thousands of places I've stayed in 70+ years, this ranks among the top three and I can't say how wonderful the other two were. It is the only place I can't say how to improve it. A fantastic setting/view, full feature bungalow, modern, clean, well run, and with a delightful hostess. It is a bit difficult to get to, but if you managed to make it to Tahiti, you're up to it. If I return to the island, this will be my first booking (and I had another top-20 stay there). When the price doubles, it will still be a bargain (with a waiting list). So don't miss out!

22 miles from Faarumai Waterfalls in Taravao, Jorsen House Tahiti: bungalow confortable provides accommodations with access to an open-air bath. The price was fair and it was a nice studio. The backyard space was large and spacious with many seating areas. This studio is located in an area where there are mostly locals. I did not see any tourists which I enjoyed. There are plenty of grocery stores, atms and restaurants.
