The villa itself is perched overlooking a magnificent lake, offering a breathtaking view that I will cherish for years to come. We were fortunate enough to spot majestic fish eagles soaring above, and elegant yachts gliding across the shimmering waters, adding to the enchanting scenery that's nothing short of a living postcard. Gordon and Anthula were not only exceptional hosts but also delightful storytellers. They generously shared captivating tales of how they met and the fascinating journey of how their beautiful property was developed over the years. Their stories added a personal touch that enriched our stay considerably. Remarkably, we were among their first guests since the property's development, yet we would never have known. Everything was meticulously prepared, from the immaculate presentation of the villa to the comprehensive list of activities, contact numbers, and menus for local restaurants, ensuring that our every need was catered for. I cannot recommend Island Lake Villa and Bungalow enough for anyone seeking a serene and rejuvenating escape.
